THE BRIEF
Lobby Espresso is a cafe located in the lobby of the Westpac Headquarters in the Sydney CBD. The cafe is owned by Michael Borstrock. Michael was keen to refresh the cafe's logo, review and update in-store signage and to explore new ways to reach potential new customers working in the building.
The cafe had the challenging situation of very restricted guidelines towards promotion from the building management.

I did a walk through the cafe with Michael to understand his business and get a customer's POV of the cafe experience. I presented Michael with a range of ideas to declutter the counter and improve signage in and around the cafe. I produced a number of mockups for Michael to present to management including a large logo behind the counter and signage in the lobby.
I refreshed the logo keeping it simple and sophisticated. Next was looking at ways to promote the cafe within the building. We ran a digital poster campaign inside the headquarter elevators. We also explored the idea of a loyalty card and I produced a mock up for this concept.
